Week 10 Inquiry
- You created 3 pieces of art in class. Which one were you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of my hei tiki because it looked really awesome with the background and the colour scheme
- You were asked to submit your very own/individual piece of art that represented you and something you were inspired by. Explain in more detail about this…
I drew and coloured in a picture of Clair from miss peregrine's home for peculiar children
- You learnt some new skills during our term of art - cross hatching, colour composition, Maori motifs, patterns
and symmetry. Choose one and explain in more detail exactly what you learnt.
I learnt how to do cross hatching with our portraits to make it look 3D
- Our trip around Hawke’s Bay was to inspire us. Describe what your highlight was from this trip and why.
My favourite part of the the trip was the amazing art in MTG they really inspired me with all of my art.
- If we carried out this Turangawaewae Inquiry topic again, what would you change/do differently?
I think with my pepeha I would make the colour scheme a little bit more fitting
- Identify one person's artwork that you are impressed by. Explain why?
I am impressed by Shamus’ hei tiki because he made it look very traditional
